Catch up on this webinar where Tracey Duncombe, our TUKFS Knowledge Exchange Fellow, was joined by Mike Barry from Planeatry Alliance to talk about reflections from the Eat Lancet 2025 launch and marketplace implications.
The EAT Lancet Commission launched its 2025 Report on a Healthy, Sustainable and Just food system. The report has enormous implications for the global food system such as how food is produced and, for the first time, how it is consumed. Not only does the report surface the sector’s $15 trillion per annum of external costs on society and planet, its work on justice elevates the importance of farmers, smallholders, workers, citizens and consumers’ right to an accessible, affordable and delicious planetary health diet. Crucially, the report also provides a broad outline of how its huge ambition can be translated into action. In this webinar, Mike explored what the report means for the sector and how its transformation may unfold in practice.
