This TUKFS Connect webinar explored how food choices can be guided towards better health and environmental sustainability through changes to food environments, rather than relying solely on individual knowledge or motivation. Drawing on insights from two complementary TUKFS projects, SNEAK and SUS‑Health, the session highlighted how practical interventions at the point of meal provision and selection can deliver measurable benefits at population level. Together, the projects demonstrated how menu design, information provision and pricing can work in combination to support healthier, lower‑impact diets across canteens and restaurant settings, while also raising important considerations around affordability, transparency and equity.
